FAQ

  • What is an FDN-P?

An FDN-P is an expertly trained "health detective" who uses a series of functional lab tests to help clients uncover the hidden causes of their chronic health issues.

  • Do you take insurance?

No. Functional Diagnostic Nutrition is an opt-in model of self-care. As we are not physicians and we do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, we do not take insurance.

  • Where do we meet?

My practice is 100% virtual- this makes it easy for you to meet with me from your home, office or anywhere you choose. Our sessions will be conducted over Zoom or via telephone. If you’re local to SLC, Utah, we can arrange to meet in person as well.

  • How fast will I get better?

Rebalancing the body takes time. Likely you've been feeling unwell for months or years, and it will take at least a few months for us to begin to turn your health around together. I make no guarantees, but if you are willing to put in the time and effort I ask of you, positive changes in energy, mood, sleep, weight, and digestion can occur in as little as a few weeks.

  • Have you helped others like me? Do you work with kids?

Yes! I've worked with clients who suffer from a number of issues that traditional medicine has no answers for. I can help you naturally move your body from a state of dysfunction to a state of function. We treat your body as a whole instead of only treating symptoms. As a member of AFDNP, you get my expertise as well as the expertise of thousands of other FDNPs and practitioners.

Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® health coaches do not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any disease or condition. Nothing we share with our clients is intended to substitute for the advice, treatment or diagnosis of a qualified licensed physician. Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® (FDN) Practitioners may not make any medical diagnoses or claim, nor substitute for your personal physician’s care. It is the role of a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® Practitioner to partner with their clients to provide ongoing support and accountability in an opt-in model of self-care and should be done under the supervision of a licensed physician.
